I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Elizabethtown College in 2022. After graduation, I accepted a position as an NIH post-baccalaureate fellow at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). There, I conducted research in laboratory of Dr. David Sibley, focusing on the molecular pharmacology and drug discovery of a novel positive allosteric modulator of the D1 dopamine receptor as a potential treatment for Parkinson’s disease. I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Pharmacology program at Duke University. In the Tsvetanova lab, my project explores how GPCR signaling influences RNA biology. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing golf, tennis, and pickleball, attending trivia nights, exploring new places/restaurants, and watching Duke basketball!
